Creating reports

iThmb Converter has a convenient feature of automatically creating HTML image data base reports where image thumbnails and additional data are arranged in the form of a table.

1. Select an iThmb folder in the left panel of iThmb Converter:

2. Choose Create report from the File menu:

3. As the report is generated based on the data from the index data base file, you need to correctly locate it before creating a report. Select the index file manually if the one is not automatically found by iThmb Converter (read Using the constructor mode and On the iDevice about the index data base file names and locations):

4. Select the name and location for the HTML report:

5. This starts the process of generating the report. It takes up to several seconds depending on the size of the collection:

6. HTML image data base report is generated and opened automatically in your default browser:

Apart from the image thumbnail, the data in report is extracted from the index file. It includes:

• the original image file name
• rating
• date of creation and modification
• keywords for the image.
